How to choose a crane?
Oct 13,2025
The motor’s rated lifting capacity applies to scenarios where the lifting height is within 12 meters, the total length of the wire rope does not exceed 12 meters, and the motor operates at its maximum power limit. In actual use, always ensure that the load remains below 70% of the motor’s rated capacity. If the weight of the object you’re lifting is close to the motor’s maximum rated load capacity, be sure to select a crane model with a slightly higher lifting capacity than required. For example, if you need to easily lift a 0.5-ton load, you should choose a crane capable of handling a pull force exceeding 0.5 tons. Otherwise, applying a force equal to or only slightly lower than the rated capacity could result in the load simply failing to lift—potentially even requiring significantly more effort. This not only increases operational difficulty but also greatly risks shortening the motor’s service life!
